Dr. Jeff Courtright has been with the School of Communications at Illinois State University since 2001. A tenured associate professor, he teaches advanced level classes in public relations, including international public relations. He is the co-author of two books, Power and Public Relations and Inspiring Cooperation and Celebrating the Organization.
Jeff received his doctorate in communications from Purdue University, after achieving bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Manchester College and University of Southwestern Louisiana. He has taught at Miami University (Ohio), University of North Dakota, and was a guest lecturer at Salzburg College (Austria).
In addition to over 60 presentations at professional conferences, Jeff has published numerous journal articles, book chapters and chapters in edited books. He is a member of National Communication Association, The Reputation Institute, Kenneth Burke Society, Central States Communication Association, Public Relations Society of America and Educators Academy.
